Icons and Uses
Here is a quick guide to show you functionality and what the icons mean, so you can start exploring your water.
Filter your search by state
Change to map view (Currently, the search function in this view is not functional)
Click for complete river data from the OnWaterApp database and river map
Home page – Choose the water you want to explore
Your saved offline maps. OnWater insider tip: To save an offline map, select tile of river you wish to fish, scroll down to view map and points of interest, click save icon at bottom right hand corner of screen. Your map is saved!
Add photos and notes to store on your app!
Your subscription and OnWater account info
Click on the river you wish to explore! OnWaterApp is the leading database and research site for your next fishing adventure. Use hyperlinks to connect with flyshops and shuttles. Get the latest regulations and weather updates – zoom in on your map to confirm private property boundaries and public access areas
Click to toggle map style, private properties, points of interest and more – Swipe drawer upwards to view all customization options
GPS your honey hole – never forget a bend or pool!
Save your map offline – use it when you have no cell coverage

Click on each icon for more information including location coordinates and access – go fishing!
If you subscribed with an iOS device here is how to manage your subscription.
Open the Settings app.
Tap your name.
Tap the subscription
Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Canel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.
