We are thrilled to feature another community-based fly fishing organization dedicated to progressing participation in fly fishing and conserving habitats and opportunities for all anglers. Grayling Education, founded by Anna Le, Grayling Education works to engage all people with conservation and science. For Anna, “Grayling is my story, but there wouldn’t be a dramatic plot without the people who showed me the places, took me fishing, shared their knowledge, dropped everything to net my fish, rooted me on during the tough moments, shared GPS coordinates and pins on a map, braved through arduous road trips and mosquito-infested hikes, and guided me through with love and patience. If only a fraction of those feelings could be replicated, that’s why Grayling Education exists.

Recently Grayling Education's Anna Le was on Tom Rosenbauer's Orvis Fly Fishing Podcast. Anna Le of Grayling Education spoke with Rosenbauer about the importance of protecting species li. She also tells how to gauge the health of a river by looking at the bugs, and also how we can all be citizen scientists and alert the authorities when we see a decline of important indicator species.
